As UK Editorial Director at GAY TIMES, I brainstorm cover talent, ideate themes and article ideas, commission and edit cover interviews and features across the monthly digital issue and liaise with the Creative Director and Art Director on visual identity. For the website, I regularly edit and commission longreads exploring the depth of the LGBTQIA+ experience and expanded the content remit to include coverage of finance, gaming, fashion and sex and relationships.
As Digital Editor at HUNGER I worked as part of a small team to relaunch the magazine's website in September 2021 in order to create a more contemporary digital presence. In addition to helping to liaise with developers and influence the new functionality and aesthetics of the site, I worked to create a relaunch offering that included original shoots with Megan Barton-Hanson, Aziya and Jordan Stephens.
At Cosmopolitan UK, I worked with different freelance writers on longreads, op-eds, interviews and more - all tied to dating, relationships and LGBTQIA+ identity. I also managed the Sex and Relationships Contributing Editor Hollie-Anne Brooks, whose work focussed on the intersections of dating and disability.
